A special place for your Spring getaway, you can watch as the sun sets over the fields and stare in wonder as the galaxy reveals itself overhead. Views over the valley in front and nestled on the edge of a soaring old growth forest in your own 6 acre meadow, you have camp all to yourself and 86 acres to explore. Spread out and enjoy the space, hike the 7km of trails on site, and get melty in your private cedar sauna.

Use the dome as your base camp for exploration around Grey County or enjoy the private trails to yourself and snuggle in at the dome to truly unwind and relax.
Additional bell tents can be included to expand the sleeping capacity at camp. Please reach out to discuss a group booking (2 nights minimum).

The dome is best suited for 2 adults with previous camping experience.
Up to 2 single beds can be added to bring your kids out for a special adventure

*** This is an OFF GRID experience. There is no electricity to the dome or camp (all power is through battery packs, solar, or wood)
*** There is no central heating or cooling in the dome - heating is through the wood stove and cooling is provided by the fans and opening window.
*** This is an elevated CAMP experience. This is still a tent in a field which can be hot in the midday or cool at night depending on the weather.
*** This is a tent in a field - there will be insects of various types ( some beneficial and some can be mosquitos). Come prepared for the weather and surroundings.
*** Sky Camp is a super cool experience where you might hear owls, woodpeckers and coyotes. The property has seen a wide variety of bird species (cranes, herons, songbirds, bald eagles and more), foxes, porcupines, weasels, deer, wild turkeys, and very rarely, a bear.
Settle In and Get Cozy
Enter into the dome and inside you will find a cozy yet expansive space flooded with natural light and warmed by the Drolet Bistro cookstove.
Curl up in the queen sized bed or stretch out for yoga in front of the giant bay window.
The table and large kitchen island can be set for dining, workspace, or for play.
Your own private oasis
With open and covered sitting areas, solar lights for night vibes and your own fire pit for roasting marshmallows, outside enjoyment is encouraged.
There is a BBQ just off the expansive deck for culinary intentions and a trail head up into the forest steps away.
Spread out for yoga and games.
Melt it out in the sauna or sit by the fire under the stars.
Head out to explore the 7km of trails from the trailhead steps from Sky Camp.
Well stocked and at the ready
Cook up tasty treats in the wood fired oven and stay toasty through the night with the Drolet wood stove.
The kitchen island has all the accoutrements you need to whip up something yummy.Cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans. A dish rack, scrubber and bio degradable dishwashing soap is all provided.
Non-potable water on tap at the sink for washing up and we provide fresh drinking water.
Cook inside on the wood stove or BBQ up your favourites outside. Everything you need to make a great meal at camp is ready and waiting.
The dome is also outfitted with a fire alarm and fire extinguisher.
The Washroom Pod
The SunMar composting toilet is easy to use and eliminates the need for fresh water in the process. Just steps away from the door of the dome and the sauna, the washroom pod is clean and pleasant.
The private washroom pod at Sky Camp is unheated in the Winter months and there is no shower between November and March.
Oh Joy!
The wood fired cedar sauna is ready to melt away the day and is certainly an experience to enjoy.
With windows looking out over the field and up into the forest, the sauna is an awesome treat for your body & mind.
When you are not using it as a sauna, it makes for a lovely forest observation pod or book nook.
The Trails
In the Winter months, travel a groomed trail through some of our beautiful vistas. Bring your snowshoes or cross country skis and get outside!
