Below you can read and review the policies and waivers for Bubble Grove. Interacting with, purchasing from, and visiting Bubble Grove indicates your agreement with these policies. 

Cancellation Policy

Bubble Grove Policies

 

If your plans change, we ask that you give as much notice as possible when cancelling.

 

Cancellations are processed through email only

Please send your message including your full name, booking date or time, and contact details to:  hello@bubblegrove.ca. 

 

No Shows forfeit the booking fee and receive no refunds or credits.

 

Cancellations to events run by guest hosts and specialty events may be subject to special policies which differ from and override these policies. Details of any overriding policies will be stated at booking and included in your booking and/or confirmation emails.

 

Services Cancelled Due To Weather Or Emergencies

 

As we are a rural location and can receive intense weather events during the Winter months, there may be times where a cancellation is necessary due to closed roads or extreme conditions.

 

Cancellations for Extreme Weather or Emergencies are offered a 100% CREDIT for future service at Bubble Grove ( to be used within 6 months of the original booking)

 

We understand unforeseen Emergencies may come up. 

To receive consideration for this, some form of proof may be requested.

 

ACCOMMODATIONS

 

A damage deposit of $250 is required. 

On the day of your arrival a hold will be placed on your credit card for this amount or an etransfer for this amount will be required.

 

 After your stay, if there are no damages or additional costs then this hold will expire after 10 days if by credit card. If by etransfer, we will refund the deposit within 72 hours of your stay.

 

Cancellations for accommodations made 30 days or more ahead of your check in date or booking time are offered a FULL REFUND to the original payment method

 

Cancellations for accommodations made 14 days or more ahead of your booking time are offered a 75% CREDIT for future service at Bubble Grove ( to be used within 6 months of the original booking)

 

Cancellations for accommodations made 14 days or less ahead of your booking time will be offered a 50% CREDIT for future service at Bubble Grove ( to be used within 6 months of the original booking)

 

Any cancellations made less than 72 hours before your booking time forfeit the booking fee and receive no refunds or credits

 

No Shows forfeit the booking fee and receive no refunds or credits.

 

 

DAY EXPERIENCES & ACTIVITIES

 

Cancellations for Experiences & Activities made more than 72 hours ahead of your check in date or booking time are offered a FULL REFUND to the original payment method.

(not including food or special materials)

 

Cancellations for Experiences & Activities made less than 72 hours ahead of your booked arrival time are offered a 75% CREDIT

 

Cancellations for Experiences & Activities made less than 24 hours ahead of your booked arrival time receive no credit or refund.

 

PICNICS & FOOD PACKAGES

 

Special order food packages and picnics cancelled more than 14 days before your booking are offered a full refund to the original payment method minus a $25 office fee and any other fees incurred by Bubble Grove.

 

Special order food packages and activities are non refundable within 14 days of your booking as orders will have been placed.

Liability Waiver

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks, and Indemnity Agreement

I, ______________ (“Releasor”), a visitor to and short term vacation renter of the property commonly known as Bubble Grove & Rhythmic Roots Farm located at 576799 Concession 9, Chatsworth ON Canada (the “Property”) acknowledge and agree:

 

  1. The Property is a large acreage property with rocky landforms, ponds, uneven ground, trails, unpredictable landscapes, cliff, crevices, trees alive or dead, overhanging branches, holes, fires and fire pits, a variety of wildlife, big weather events, camp sites, various structures, etc

 

b) The the ponds are not fenced or supervised

 

c)  I am aware that my stay at the Property involves risks that may result in serious bodily injury and/or death. Some of the risks include, but are not limited to, drowning, falling, sports injury, slips, trips, falls, cuts, adverse weather conditions, the acts or omissions of guests or visitors on the Property during my stay, and the condition of the Property. 

 

d) I understand that the description of the risks in this Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Assumption of Risk (the “Document”) is not complete and that other risks or events that are known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated may result in serious bodily injury and or/death.

 

e) In consideration of being permitted to rent and stay at the Property, I agree on my own behalf, my family, any and all guests, and invitees that I am fully responsible for any and all risks of injury or death. I hereby release and hold harmless Bubble Grove and its members, principals, agents, officers, employees, and representatives (collectively “Releasees”) as well as the owner of the Property.

 

f) I understand and acknowledge that being on large rural property present various risks and hazards. I assume all such risks associated with being on The Property, including the obligation to notify all guests of such risks.

 

g) I agree to fully and forever release and discharge, and not to sue Releasees for any injuries or damages, including bodily injury or property damage that may result from or be related in any way to my rental and stay at the Property. 

I further agree to indemnify and defend Releasees, through their own choice of counsel, against any and all claims arising out of or related in any way to my rental of the property, including claims by third parties.

 

CONSIDERATION

 

  1. In consideration of the rent as agreed upon by the guest and Bubble Grove & Rhythmic Roots Farm, the receipt and sufficiency of which consideration is acknowledged, the Guest forever releases and discharges Bubble Grove & Rhythmic Roots Farm, its affiliates, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives and assigns from all manner of actions, causes of action, debts, accounts, bonds, contracts, claims and demands for or by reason of any damage, loss or injury to person or third party and property which has been or may be sustained as a result of using the property as a guest and engaging in wilderness and or recreation activities. 

 

CONCURRENT RELEASE

 

  1. The Guest acknowledges that this release is given with the express intention of effecting the extinguishment of any obligations owed to the Guest, and with the intention of binding the Guest’s spouse, heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, and assigns resulting from being a Guest of Bubble Grove & Rhythmic Roots Farm and engaging in wilderness or recreation activities.

 

WILDERNESS/RECREATION ACTIVITIES

 

  1. In this Release Agreement, the term “wilderness activities” and/or “recreation activities” shall include, but are not limited to: using overnight accommodations, camping, overnight stays in the outdoors,  alpine skiing, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, touring, mountaineering, outdoor cooking, making fires, rock climbing, swimming, ice climbing, expeditions, trekking, biking, and all activities, services and use of facilities either provided, arranged, or organized by Bubble Grove & Rhythmic Roots Farm and or its affiliates, including orientation and instructional classes, transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, and water supply, and all travel by movement around 

 

  1. moveable devices such as cars, snowmobiles, mountain biking, horseback riding, dirt bikes, ATV’s, and any other type of vehicles. 

 

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

 

  1. I am aware of the risks, dangers, and hazards associated with wilderness/recreational activities and I freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage, or loss resulting from therefrom.

 

  1. I am aware that participation in wilderness activities involves many risks, dangers and hazards. The Terrain used for wilderness activities may include, but is not limited to: cornices, crevasses, cliffs, trees, tree wells tree stumps, forest dead fall, creeks, rocks, rock fall, boulders, holes and depressions that may not be visible, variable and difficult snow conditions, lighting, equipment failure, becoming lost or separated from one’s party or guide, slips, trips and falls, infections diseases contracted through viruses, bacteria, parasites which may be transmitted through direct or indirect contact, negligence of other persons, including the negligence of the guest.

 

Non-Scheduled or Emergency Evacuation, Rescue or First Aid

 

  1. I acknowledge and agree that all expenses associated with non-scheduled, or emergency evacuation, rescue or first aid will be my responsibility and will not be covered by Bubble Grove & Rhythmic Roots Farm or its affiliates. 

 

 

Governing Law

 

  1. This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.
